I am a teenager and have been trying to lose weight for a few years. I have done intense fitness and weight loss camps as well as a nutrition class. I also tried keeping a diet and exercise journal. Nothing has helped. I am seriously looking at liposuction. Is liposuction in teenagers a good choice?

The best way to lose weight is fasting with water in my opinion. There are several reasons for this:
First, it’s completely safe.
Second, it will shrink your stomach so that you won’t have the desire to eat as much after the fast.
Third, loose skin will shrink when you lose weight fasting (you’ll look good) unlike an operation which may scar you for life.
Fourth, fasting is often done for healing and your body will go into an accelerated mode of healing during the fast.
I recommend starting slowly, fasting for 1 day at first, wait a week, then 3 days of fasting, wait a week, then 5 days of fasting, wait a month, then 10 days of fasting. I don’t recommend more than 10 days of fasting at a time, but it depends on what your goals are.
Expect to lose between 1-2 pounds per day of fasting. You might lose more but you will also regain some weight after the fast.
I highly recommend you purchase at least one book on fasting (and READ IT!) before doing it. "The Miracle of Fasting" by Paul Bragg is good.
I hope your diet is also good like you say. Less food isn’t necessarily better, it’s the quality of food that matters. Join the "Weston Price" foundation and stop drinking all soft drinks. I recommend foods such as raw eggs (organic only), raw milk (if you can get it) vegetables, salads (vinegar dressing), and juiced vegetables for losing weight. A good protein source (like the eggs or milk) is important for long term weight loss.
Please don’t do the surgery, it’s expensive, unnecessary, and will possibly scar you or leave you with further complications in the future. I hope this helps you.
ummm cough up 5000 and your ready
Sometimes dieting and exercising simply is not enough, because there can be additional weight simply lying around in the colon. It’s not body fat, so it can’t be melted off, but it can be rinsed out, simply by taking a supplement.
nahh, dont do it.
you might really regret it later.
NO! ok are you tryin to get fit or lose weight. they are not equal nor are they similar. you have got to be healthy if your sticking to all of these things. you may be gaining muscle and burning fat. Muscle weighs more than fat so if your looking at the scale don’t go find a place where they have a BMI scale and that will really tell you if your overwieght of not. which by your diet i dont see how you could be. but dont turn to lipo cuz your very young
no. most doctors wont even do it on you. Plus, you could turn out looking disformed like tara reid.
that is what happened to her, and she is a CELEBRITY… dont you think she had the BEST doctor money could buy?? yeah.
look into other medical options, like stomach stapling or thyroid medication.
depends how heavy you are. lipo destroys the cells that store fat in a specific are that is "lipo’d." you wont get any fat stored there EVER but you will still store fat, just in different and abnormal areas.
if you are majorly obese, talk to your dr. you are still young so you might grow out of it. at my heaviest in my teen years i was pushing 150/160. grew up a little, watch what i eat, exercise daily and keep active and i’ve gone down 5 jean sizes since. i was almost a size 12 in junior high.
Hey I know your struggle lol, I am a personal trainer and deal with men and women with the same problem, I ahve found the best solution besides getting your own trainer, and that is this website, it wont let me post for some reason but it is truly amazing, I have even sent some of my clients there, they have to free books you download online, they teach you everything one for male and one for female, next they have a book with everything you need but it costs a little bit of money, most my clients by the book which i reccomend but i say try the book out for free, and i guarantee you will see results!!! guarantee! shoot me over an email for the link that they wont let me post here for some reason.
its the best and its free why not lol
and its safer then lipo
Probably not, until after you are done growing. The way your body deposits fat changes when you finish growing, and I think you’re liable to lay down more when your growth finishes. May as well wait till you have completely "filled out" before doing any surgery.
